Grading for Equity Book Study Kickoff

December 9, 2020 at 4 PM via Zoom will be the launch of the Grading for Equity book study which will begin in January. In this special session, Joe Feldman, the author of “Grading for Equity” will share:

• an overview of the history and impact of traditional grading practices
• the framework of equitable grading–practices that are more accurate, bias-resistant, and motivational–and an example of a more equitable grading practice
• the impact of more equitable grading practices for teachers and their students, particularly those historically underserved.

Book Study Registration

The Grading for Equity Book Study is a three-session commitment on Wednesdays – January 20, February 17, and March 24, 2021 at 4 PM via Zoom. Participation is limited to 150 participants. A copy of the text is available for purchase at https://bit.ly/edTrendsbookstudy. Once registered, participants will receive information via email how to access the book study in February and March.
