2023-2024 Book Study: Making the Most of Feedback in K-12 Schools, Discussions led by the NYS Master Teachers.
Wednesdays from 4-5:30 PM EST Via Zoom
Teachers provide feedback to their students constantly. We know that feedback can be an incredibly powerful tool to engage students and support growth when used appropriately. This professional learning series (mini-course) will guide participants through the playbook “How Feedback Works” by John Almarode, Douglas Fisher and Nancy Frey. Together we will explore what feedback is, why it isn’t always effective and how we as educators can improve the impact of the feedback we give. As part of the Visible Learning collection, we will pay particular attention to how the actions we take can better motivate and drive student learning.
