This informational session will outline the grant-funded Academy for the Advancement of Teaching Assistants (AATA) Program that will be accepting applications in the spring of 2021. If you are an unemployed or underemployed adult and have a high school diploma or equivalent, and would like to consider becoming a K-12 teaching assistant, please join us on January 28 to learn more about this unique opportunity sponsored by University at Albany and the Capital Region BOCES. The AATA program provides a unique opportunity to earn the educational and professional credentials required for teacher assistant certification through various resources and supports. The AATA is a flexible program that combines online learning, seminars, and mentoring.
