HyFlex | Multimodal Instructional Delivery
A Hybrid-Flexible (HyFlex) course allows students choice in determining which mode of learning best meets their needs at any particular time during an academic term. Typically, HyFlex includes three student learning options and instructional modalities: in-person, online synchronous, and asynchronous. The modalities available are determined from the outset by the instructor based on educational considerations and student need. Outlined below are the tools and instructional environments needed for both teachers and students for each of the three instructional delivery systems.
