About AATLAS and RemoteED

Summer 2020 Camps for K-12 Students
RemoteED and the Capital District Writing Project (CDWP) will offer online camps and workshops this summer. AATLAS in partnership with the New York State Master Teacher Program beginning in June will have virtual STEM camps for children in grades 1-8. The innovative curriculum is designed and delivered by experienced and respected educators who are New York State Master Teachers. The purpose of the summer camps is to enhance and inspire student learning while promoting creative thinking and hands-on experiences in science, math, and technology.
CDWP will have a series of workshops this summer designed for young people who LOVE to write and enjoy collaborating with other writers. Workshop facilitators are experienced K-12 educators from the Capital Region. Our facilitators challenge young people to grow as writers in fun and interactive ways and within a supportive community.

Stacy Robison
Web Developer
Stacy's Bio
Stacy is a current student in the Curriculum Development and Instructional Design program at the University at Albany. She is also an eLearning Instructional Design Manager at the CUNY Research Foundation, where she leads a team of talented instructional designers building and implementing online training programs for New York state employees. She also has experience designing, implementing, and managing K-12 and workforce educational programs in web and software development for children and adults.
She earned a B.A. in English Literature from Humboldt State University in 2004, and subsequently meandered into the tech sector, where she was ultimately able to earn a salary writing and teaching as the head of the education team for a healthcare IT start-up company in Vermont. She has taught a wide variety of subjects, including academic writing, general biology, physical anthropology, web and software development, and digital literacy, and if there’s one thing she has witnessed over and over again, it’s that making our students successful depends more on our support for their learning and development than it does on our accumulation of background knowledge or expertise.
