Art project that involves students to watch two YouTube videos that explore color compositions/collages. One focuses on Mark Rothko and another on “MarcPaperScissor”. They will take note that some collages are monochromatic and a series of different materials/sources using their chosen color, while others make up an image using different sections of color to create. They choose what they want to make and gather the materials. Once their composition is done, the students are to make a FlipGrid video showing their piece and briefly explain why and what they did. Students can also watch one another’s videos and
respond to their peers’ works.
